The largest performance hall in Europe at the time of its inauguration in 1770, during the reign of Louis XV, the Royal Opera now hosts over 100 shows each year, including staged operas, concert versions, recitals, theatre, and ballets. A timeless escape awaits you in this architectural masterpiece built entirely of wood.

Free self-guided tour of the Royal Opera, from the backstage areas to the colonnade, including the King’s Box and the stalls.
