Château de Versailles Spectacles, a private subsidiary of the Public Establishment of Versailles, has been responsible for organising events and performances within the Versailles National Estate for over fifteen years. Its mission is to uphold the tradition of performing arts through large-scale events.

Château de Versailles Spectacles offers a diverse range of shows programmed throughout the year in exceptional venues — including open-air performances, the Fountains Show of Versailles, and costume evenings — as well as a musical season at the Royal Opera and in some of the Château’s most prestigious halls. This artistic programme combines opera, concerts, theatre, and ballet, performed by internationally renowned artists.

The Royal Opera Academy was established to train young pre-professional artists (musicians, singers, and dancers) for the productions organised by Château de Versailles Spectacles and the Royal Opera.

Upon completing their training, these artists join the Choir, Orchestra, or Ballet of the Royal Opera of the Château de Versailles and participate in various performances at the Royal Opera, including The Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors, The King’s Tour (a visit-performance), Les Fêtes Galantes (a costume ball), Opéra Partagé, and other projects.

The Royal Opera Academy is a project supported by the Royal Opera Productions.
