In 1713, Louis XIV founded the École de Danse de l’Académie Royale de Musique : choreography was so important to Court and City performances that an institution was finally needed to train and teach it. Three centuries later, the Paris Opera Ballet created its Junior Ballet, which is making its first appearance at the Royal Opera of Versailles. Made up of 18 dancers recruited through an international competition to give them all the tools they need to develop their talent, the Junior Ballet was born in 2024. And given the extraordinary reputation of the Paris Opera Ballet, it promises surprises, discoveries and extraordinary talent !
