What is this mysterious force that binds us beyond our differences, our individuality, and our beliefs? The one that brings us together in streets, village squares, and the heart of great cities? The one that draws us out of our homes, pushes and uplifts us, circulating like a wave from one body to another, carrying a shared feeling in the face of injustice, inequality in resources, and social status.

From Antiquity to the present day, via the Enlightenment, history is marked by these sporadic uprisings, fuelled by a dream, an utopia, but most often by a vital necessity.

This raw energy, this movement of bodies rising like a dam and flowing like a flock of starlings that breaks apart only to re-form elsewhere; this wild beauty nourished by the energy of despair and dreaming of igniting the spark of renewal — I would like to make it circulate like joy within bodies. From this dance of uprising may emerge a space where the most beautiful expressions of sisterhood, the strongest feelings of freedom, and the deepest bonds of brotherhood can arise.
